The Third Culture Children Conference is a unique event dedicated to supporting children and families who live in an intercultural environment, absorbing different traditions and values.

These children have a unique ability to adapt, are open to the world and carry within themselves a diversity of cultures. However, they often face challenges: how to maintain their self-identity, cope with emotional difficulties and grow into a harmonious personality.

The meeting will discuss:

• How moving and intercultural environments affect children's development.

• What are the challenges and benefits of being a third culture kid?

• How parents can help their children find balance and stay confident.

• The impact of moving on children’s health and practical recommendations from specialists.

Conference experts:

Alena Ostanina , co-founder and director of the primary bilingual school in Lisbon Clarity school, PCC coach and facilitator. Mother of two children of the third culture.

Ivan Protsenko, a specialist in general and family medicine in Portugal, co-founder of the medical service for Russian speakers in Portugal Medcouple.pt , author of the eponymous Telegram channel about health and medicine in this country.
